Who is this guy

The short story.

I am an experienced DOP with over 50 TV series and feature films on my CV, and of course tons of commercials.

I love filmmaking, is a true film nerd, and believe making films is teamwork.

Besides being a cinematographer, I does a lot of commercials as a shooting director.

You’ll find me either on a film set or at the racetrack, where I spends the rest of my time as a mechanic and team manager. Racing—that’s my other passion, but let’s talk more about that next time.

The long story.

With over 20 years of experience as a top Director of Photography in Sweden, complemented by a decade of foundational work as a gaffer/spark, I bring a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for visual storytelling to your team.

My career in the film industry began in the early 90s with a focus on lighting, which laid a solid technical foundation for my transition to Director of Photography in 2001.

Since then, I have had the privilege of working on approximately 50 high-end Swedish features, TV series, and numerous commercials.

One of the highlights of my career is the acclaimed TV series "The Restaurant" (Vår tid är nu) for SVT, Sweden's public service broadcaster. This period piece, set in the 1940s and 1950s, stands as the most expensive TV drama ever produced in Sweden and showcases my ability to handle large-scale, high-budget productions.

I am known for my meticulous attention to detail, creative vision, and ability to collaborate closely with directors, producers, and clients.

My work not only meets but often exceeds expectations, resulting in visually compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.

In addition to my primary role as a cinematographer, I occasionally take on responsibilities as a Shooting Director, further enhancing my collaborative skills and understanding of actors, clients and management needs.

I am enthusiastic about the possibility of discussing how my background, skills, and experiences align with the needs of your project.
